// When I read yesterday on the Sydney Morning Herald news website that there would be a big smiley face in the sky I got a tad excited. I tend to get excited at silly little things like this. Especially when I read you could only see this ‘down under’.
So at around 9:10pm, I went outside to take a look. Nope, nothing. I was quite disappointed and thought it was just too cloudy.
However, I had almost given up when 20mins later I decided to take another look and there it was! Shining right into my window. I couldn’t believe it. Admittedly it was a bit ‘blurry’ due to a few clouds but still, I could see it. However, the Jupiter ‘eye’ was very small and faint.
Then, after submitting my photos to them, I discovered the Sydney Observatory had chosen to post my photos up on their blog! (the ones by Livia).
Tee hee hee
