Cupcakes on Pitt is a small chain of stores in Sydney that sell the cutest, sweetest looking cupcakes ever. They are smaller than your regular cupcake which makes them seem even cuter. I don’t even have a sweet tooth but since they are so pretty and cute I can’t resist buying 2 every time I go past that shop. I can’t just buy 1 because then I don’t get to have the cute carry box that comes with it!

At every major holiday or event they come out with special themed cakes. The one before this Australia Day theme was Christmas and no doubt there was a Valentines day special series too. I didn’t get to see them but I just found pictures on their website.

For some reason they weren’t selling the Australia Day ones (they were for display only) but I was told I could buy the figurines and put them on a regular cupcake so I got a kangaroo one to go atop my ‘green tea’ cupcake making the Australian sporting colours of green and gold, and giving it a cross-cultural flavour which was so very fitting for me!

Yum!
