This is a Wordpress site/blog. Chamelle Designs' Theme was proudly created FROM SCRATCH on an iMac and drawn with a Wacom tablet. Only 8 months after the Rebel XSi / 450D was released comes the 500D. It’s funny I was only thinking 2 days ago I wonder when a 450D replacement is coming out? It seems Canon’s new model releases are getting closer and closer together. 18 months used to be the standard, and now it’s 12 months or less.
I wrote about the Canon 50D before, saying it was my dream camera but scrap that. It is far too big for me and this line of cameras fits my hand (and budget!) much better. So this is now my new dream camera. What’s not to love? It’s just like the 450D with live view, and now is upped to 15.1 megapixels and has the ability to record video!
It will be in stores worldwide from May 2009 onwards.
